Happy National Women’s History Month!
As women leaders, we are often celebrated for being the “fixers.” We pride ourselves on having the answers, moving things forward, and being the glue that holds everything together.
The question is : Is your leadership a bridge or a bottleneck?
If your team scrambles the moment you step away, you have not built a legacy. You have built a dependency.
In the premiere episode of The Legacy Series on the Empowerment Minutes Podcast, we are examining what actually remains when you are not in the room.
In this episode, we audit four key areas:
What did I build? Who did I grow? What did I normalize? What can continue without me?
Tune in to The Legacy Series | Episode 1: The Legacy Audit: Is Your Leadership a Bridge or a Bottleneck? on your favorite podcast platform and learn how to audit your leadership footprint.

Do you think you’re being kind as a leader by being vague?
Most leaders avoid direct feedback because they don’t want to hurt feelings—but vagueness doesn’t protect people. It creates anxiety, confusion, and rework. And if your team’s leadership love language is Words of Affirmation, they don’t just want a “good job.” They want clarity.
This week on the Empowerment Minutes Podcast, Episode 2 in our February series The Love Language of Leadership is live: “Clarity Is Kindness: The Feedback Love Language of Leadership.” In this episode, you will learn a simple way to give feedback constructively plus a quick reset you can use this week to help your team move faster without guessing. Compassion isn’t about lowering the bar—it’s about being clear enough to help your team reach it.
